Agent System Prompt — Tentacles

The system prompt for Tentacles is maintained in the GitHub repo. Run onboarding in your Claude Project to generate your personalized config.

Setup

1. Go to the Tentacles GitHub repo and copy agent/system-prompt.md
2. Create a Claude Project at claude.ai → Projects → New Project
3. Connect the Notion MCP integration
4. Paste the system prompt into Custom Instructions
5. Start a conversation — the agent will walk you through onboarding (~5 minutes)

What the Prompt Does

The system prompt tells agents to:

1. Onboarding mode (first run): Discover databases, personalize project codes, create your first ticket and task, generate a config file
2. Operations mode (after config upload): Full ticket-first workflow, smart ticket creation with suggest-and-confirm, cross-database linking
